Day 2, 3, 4 - Waiting Out the Swine Flu

Oh how the days have passed by s...l...o...w...l...y. We have now been under cover in our house the entire week - we've taken a walk, a couple drives but have essentially remained at home just to be on the safe side. The Swiner caused bars and discos to close, banks, many restaurants went to take-out service only - the city has become quiet! Life, however, goes on. We're hoping that after this weekend things will return to a somewhat normal state.

We've had a great family week - lots of time to spend with our baby girl who has become not one, but two handfuls!

A few photos from this week's adventures (perhaps not the most exciting, but just about everything is interesting with a one year old)!

Sophia vacilated between being a "big girl eater" and a "big messy eater."

Pablo, worn out after a serious playtime, crashed himself during Sophia's afternoon nap.

An evening BBQ with the dogs in the backyard - our yard, by the way, is the expansive size of most people's bathrooms!

And we all looked out the windown longingly, wondering when we will be Swine-Free and Free-To-Be.

Happy Saturday!

I just watched the toddling link. Soph is such an early walker. Gifted!! I love how proud of herself she was. Has she said her first word yet? Was it Spanish or English?
