Summer has arrived to PV and it is STIFLING hot! The humidity makes life just a little less pleasant... we never seem to dry off - sweaty sweaty sweaty... gross! BUT summer brings a much-needed break for our family! We're almost done with this season's weddings and are definitely ready for a vacation - no matter how hot!
We had a really beautiful wedding this past weekend - I loved the sunset colors and lots of fun little details!
Just one more wedding coming up on July 12th and we'll be done (with the exception of planning) until October! Then another round of crazy brides begins! Fun fun!

Sophia is now 8 weeks old and definitely making us work! Things were going quite smoothly until about 2 weeks ago when Soph all of a sudden started waking up screaming time after time after time throughout the night! Our peaceful nights were over!!! Since then, we've been getting up anywhere from 5 - 8 times per night! At this point, we're not really even sure how many times it is a night as they all seem to run together - we're hoping this is a stage, and one that ends soon! Other than that, she is an absolute doll!
I had a photographer friend come in on Pablo's first Father's Day and surprised him with a photo session with Sophie. The pictures are really fun!

Besides working to finish up the wedding season, we're working super hard to get our house finished this summer! Things pretty much had to be put on hold once we moved in last December as work got so crazy and stayed that way until just recently. I'm realllly excited to get things finished - we've been living in a half-done house for way too long! Our kitchen tile got delivered today and we finally ordered all our kitchen cupboards, so we may actually have a finished kitchen soon! It's about time!!!
Pablo, Sophie and I are going on a little vacation in a couple weeks... we weren't quite ready to travel far with Soph (and weren't sure it would really be relaxing!), so we booked 5 nights at a great all-inclusive in Nuevo Vallarta - 15 minutes north of our house for those of you who don't know! We chose a hotel where we don't know anyone and plan to escape! The travel time should be easy enough - haha! Leave home at 2:45 and check in to our hotel room at 3pm! Sounds silly but we are SO EXCITED!
I guess that's all for today! We're really excited for our friends - Jill, who is pregnant again and finding out boy or girl at the end of the month (I hope Cammers gets a little brother!), and Rachel, who is adopting from Russia! Sophie already has international friends!
