Six Years
No, this time I'm not talking about a birthday. Pablo and I celebrated our six-year anniversary this past May 9th! As always, I received my roses (despite us being absolutely insane in preparation for an around-the-corner wedding).
Love you!

Soph's School Birthday Party - Three Years Old!
Soph's third birthday fell on a Thursday this year, so she (very happily) got to celebrate at school with her friends! Things south-of-the-border are a little different, and I'm having to learn the kids' birthday thing a whole new way! The parents silently "host" a birthday party for the child at school - meaning we aren't present at the party, but we send all the supplies for the making of a good time!
So May 12th, off we went to school - Strawberry Shortcake pinata, goodie bags (with oreo cookies, banana sun chips, chocolate milk, stickers, etc.), party hats and cake in tow for 40 youngsters! We were able to leave our camera, and her teachers took lots of pics for us!

Easter Morning
Have to go back a few weeks to catch up! Remember, April - June is wedding season, so while we are doing fun things and taking pics of it, there isn't much time to blog about the goings-on! So we're going to play a little catch up!
Easter morning brought the keeping of new traditions with it. First, of course, a beautiful church service to hear the whole reason for the day! I'll be honest, with a wedding the night before, we were all super-tired, baggy-eyed and a little out of it. But the entire band of live musicians at church brought that to a quick halt!
And after church we headed to Michelle's house (for the third year in a row) for Easter brunch and the search for those darn baskets!
No basket here!
Nothing here either!
I found it!
Hmmm, obvious that there was some playdoh in that basket?!?
And then Soph moved on to find Jake's basket! Thankfully, he was sound asleep!
Thanks for a great Easter at your home again Tia Michelada!
