A Summer of Learning

This summer vacation has been quite a learning experience for us! We've had a great time and have learned many lessons - hopefully valuable for summers to come! While our grand summer "school" is not over yet (we're on our last week in Wisconsin), I'm getting a head start by posting just a bit of our summer education!

1. Getting a GOOD photo with college friends and kids is pretty impossible. What a great time I had with these girls - some things just never change! I miss them so much! (Rachel was taking the picture, but she is included in the comment!)

2. Kids play hard. After play dates, moms need a nap (or a vodka cranberry).

3. Potty-training apparently includes knowing when to go on a tree. (I will keep this boy's identity a secret but it is just too cute to not post!)

4. Too many ribs, funnel cakes, fried cheese curds, kettle corn and root beer means too much time in the bathroom (despite smiles at the moment).

4. (Sophia has learned that . . . ) Nature doesn't always taste good.

5. Paul Bunyan Restaurant is a permanent fixture in Minocqua.

6. Sophia's favorite food group is Ice Cream/Popsicles.

To be continued . . .
